5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.

Document Vault subscribers may download and save their documents at any time. Upon account closure, documents stored in the Vault will be deleted.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Note: Our questionnaire collects information about minor children (names, dates of birth) as part of the divorce document preparation process. This information is provided by the adult user and is used solely to complete the required court forms.
