Refund Policy

DivorceFastCA stands behind its services. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
Document Preparation Fee — $159
Full refund available before download. If you have paid for your document packet but have not yet downloaded it, you are entitled to a full refund. No questions asked.
No refund after download. Once you download your completed document packet, the service has been fully delivered. At that point, the $159 fee is non-refundable.
This policy exists because our service is the preparation and delivery of a custom document — not a physical product that can be returned. Once the packet is in your hands, the work is done.
Exception — Court-Ready Guarantee. If a California court clerk rejects your documents due to a formatting or preparation error on our part, we will correct the documents at no additional charge. This is not a refund — it is a free correction. See our Terms of Service for the full details of the guarantee.
Exception — 3-Day Statutory Right to Cancel. Under California law, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 3 business days of the date of payment and receive a full refund, regardless of whether you have downloaded your documents. This right cannot be waived.
Document Vault Subscription — $9.99/month
No refunds on subscription fees. Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun.
Cancel anytime. You can cancel your Document Vault subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges. You retain access to your documents until the end of the current paid billing period. After that, your documents will no longer be accessible through the Vault.
We recommend downloading your documents before cancelling your subscription so you always have a local copy.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at hello@divorcefastca.com with:
- Your full name
- Your order number
- A brief description of your request
We respond to all refund requests within one business day. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
We do not process refunds over the phone or through live chat.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide your bank with documentation of the services delivered and this published refund policy. We would much rather resolve issues directly — please reach out before going to your bank.
